I believe that art should be a reflection of oneself and should express one's emotions. Hence all my artworks speak in an emotional manner while having a visual appeal of their own.
I’m currently working on found objects and text art that express my introverted, self-conscious, over-thinking mind. The symbolic power of everyday mundane objects intrigues me, and I challenge the meaning of these boring objects by making interesting compositions. I’m currently working with electrical accessories like power sockets, power switches, wires, switchboards, etc. In the future, I’m planning to study the symbolic meanings of other objects like paper, a mirror, a pipe, etc. I would also create interactive and installation art using these objects that trigger an emotional response from viewers. Interactive art using electricity and electrical accessories could be a fun project as well.
Another aspect of my art practice is writing and typography artworks. I’ve been writing and creating typography artworks of quirky one-liners for 3 years now. I write about my reactions to situations, things I want to say but don’t, confessions, feelings, jokes, morals, learnings, and anything that feels interesting or funny. Earlier I created these artworks digitally, and now I’ve adopted a new style of using my handwriting to create these artworks. I like to learn about wordplays, puns, poetry, and limericks while writing and designing. In the future, I would like to continue this practice and introduce illustration in these artworks, making the viewing experience interactive and cathartic.
